The plight of homeless and displaced animals is astronomical.  Shelters today are overcrowded.  Domestic animals are often left on the roadside to fend for themselves.  Pet shops and breeders continue to sell animals to the general public without regard to the conditions or to the quality of life after the animals leave their doors.  It is up to all of us to make this world a better place for domestic animals.  Helping homeless animals and promoting awareness of animal cruelty is not a new concept. However, homeless animals still do not receive the attention they deserve.  Too many warm and caring animals are neglected, abused and eventually euthanized due to the lack of homes.

Project Fashion Tails is passionate about promoting awareness for animal rescues.  This organization is dedicated to rescues from all over the U.S., mainly in an effort to liberate these animals from the euthanasia list.  The goal of Fashion Tails is to keep the door revolving instead of closed, says the founder of Fashion Tails.  From this awareness, people can learn to care for these animals and to start adopting.  Miami Dade Animal Services have 250 spaces for cats and dogs, and they put down 200-300 a day according to the founder, Eva Danielle.  She adds, Fashion Tails encourages us all to get involved, and will be sponsoring a nationwide effort supported by photographers in the masses who will be taking pictures of these animals in a way you’d never expect with a fashion model at their side!  These photos debuted at the Charest- Weinberg Art Gallery in September…Click To See Full Article
